Dennis Quaid And Jimmy Gonzales Star In Trailer For Netflix’s ‘Blue Miracle’ | Film News

 

Netflix just revealed the first trailer for the upcoming comedic-drama Blue Miracle, starring Dennis Quaid and Jimmy Gonzales in the lead roles.

 

Blue Miracle is depicting the story of Omar, played by Jimmy Gonzales, who is raising orphans in an orphanage called Casa Hogar. When a storm brutally destroys their home, they have to find a way to earn money by participating in a fishing competition with Captain Wade, played by Dennis Quaid, who will team-up with the Casa Hogar’s boys.

 

This tale is based on a true story about a Mexican Orphanage, which was hit hard by Hurricane Odile in 2014. The pitch of the film states that this is “The incredible true story of Casa Hogar, the Mexican boys home that entered the world’s biggest fishing tournament to save their orphanage”.

 

This beautiful and inspiring story, co-written by Julio Quintana and Chris Dowling, is a real life lesson that shows that you can get through everything even if it seems complicated, like this team of orphans, for which every factors seem to be against them. They get through thanks to their perseverance and their team spirit.
