Desert Planes – Hot Cars In The Sun | New Music

On a hot sunny day, Desert Planes‘, “Hot Cars In The Sun” is your perfect listen for the summer.

Releasing their new track through LAB Records and produced by Rich Turvey (Blossoms, Clean Cut Kid, The Coral), “Hot Cars In The Sun” is a summery, infectious, hook-laden slice of indie-rock. With ringing guitars and strong vocals from front-man Tom Farrer, “Hot Cars In The Sun” is an upbeat and beautifully immersive track that DIY Magazine notes as a, “woozy trip down sunset strips.”

Speaking about the track, the band explains, ““Hot Cars In The Sun came together by experimenting in the studio and jamming out the ideas. We wanted to try and conjure up something with a hint of nostalgia.””

Previously a two piece band, along with original members, Tom Farrer (Vocals) and Ben Nibbits (Drums), Simon Bloor (Guitar) Dominik Hayman (Bass) were added to the lineup, further refining their addictive sound.

Desert Planes have previously release two singles, “Wake In Fright” and “Together Apart” that had garnered support from BBC Introducing, Radio X and online tastemakers alike and it certainly won’t be a surprise if, “Hot Cars In The Sun” will end up driving down to more success.
