Doja Cat And SZA Perform ‘Kiss Me More’ At 2021 Billboard Music Awards | Music News

Superstars Doja Cat and SZA performed their “Kiss Me More” collaboration at the world-famous Billboard Music Awards ceremony over the weekend.

The glamorous and dynamic duo stole the show and were unanimously acclaimed during their set. By the way, this performance marks the worldwide television debut of the song, which is holding steady at No. 5 (so far) in its fifth week on the Billboard Hot 100.

The two queens of the charts took to the Xfinity stage for their performance, which was accompanied by a band of dancers wearing orange helmets. The scenography adopted was similar to the aesthetics of the music video itself, which we adore.

The two artists wore beautiful outfits, and we expected no less from them. “Our theme of the night was ‘Afrocentric Futurism’“, explained celebrity hairstylist Jared Henderson, who worked on Doja Cat’s hairstyle to create an unforgettable look.

Dressed in a monochromatic look, Doja wore sixties inspired makeup. Meanwhile, SZA rocked bright yellow waves and a minimal black make-up look that worked in perfect harmony with Doja’s.

Moreover, Doja Cat was nominated for five Billboard Music Awards, which was this year’s third-highest total for a female artist, and she won the trophy for Best Female R&B Artist, beating out SZA, who was also nominated alongside Jhené Aiko – SZA previously won in this category three years ago.

The show was hosted by Nick Jonas and was quite spectacular with great performances by Bad Bunny and Karol G, BTS, DJ Khaled with H.E.R., Migos, Alicia Keys, P!nk, twenty one pilots and The Weeknd.
