With memes making ‘no ones’ turn into stars at the speed of a click, rapper, entrepreneur and Toronto Raptors‘ number one fan, Drake, surely doesn’t need the hype.
But you know how the internet goes, everything is something worth being turned into a caricature, and so “In My Feelings“, one of Drake’s more personal and ‘soft’ songs, has become what it probably was already set to be.
Filling the spot left by the “Hotline Bling” music video, the song, following a social media challenge, has quickly become a fan favourite from Drake’s Scorpion album, pushing the singer to exploit the success.
Now, after the recent video release for “Nonstop“, featuring official footage of Drake performing in front of an adoring crowd at the Wireless Music Festival in early July, time has come for a new music video.
After the Aubrey and the Three Migos tour got postponed until August 10, due to Offset‘s run-ins with the police, Drake wants to make sure his fans are not left heartbroken.
The rapper confirmed via his Instagram that a music video is ready and set to be released tomorrow, unveiling a photo that reads “In my feelings video tmrw:)”
Up until now, all of Drake’s music videos have been quite entertaining. From the “I’m Upset” Degrassi reunion, to the “Nice For What” video filed with star studded cameos and the rapper’s amusing moves, Drake knows how to catch the attention.
So, while we wait for the official video release, chances are high that it will be everything we are hoping for.
