Luke Hobbs, the character played by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, has become quite an important character in the Fast And The Furious franchise. So important that even a spinoff Hobbs And Shaw is currently in the production process. After an interview with the star, he now expressed that at the moment “He isn’t sure if he will be back for Fast And The Furious 9.”
Some may wonder why at this moment. This is all apparently due to a huge feud between Johnson and Vin Diesel who also co-produced the films. It went so far that these two didn’t film any scenes together for The Fate Of The Furious. For now, Johnson stated that the feud has come to a more professional state and still remains open to a possible return.
He also said that at the moment he is putting his whole energy in the spinoff with Jason Statham. “Right now I’m concentrating on making the spinoff as good as it can be.”
