Hollywood heavyweight Dwayne Johnson will be swapping the silver screen for the wrestling ring, when he makes a special one-off appearance at Wrestlemania on Sunday, April 6, 2016. Johnson will be resurrecting his wrestling alter-ego ‘The Rock’ to appear in WWE’s The Showcase Of The Immortals at the AT&T Centre, in Dallas.
Johnson is not taking his WWE comeback lightly, though – he’s listed the following 3 goals on his Instagram account: “set an ALL-TIME attendance record, ELECTRIFY Dallas like never before & make all time #WRESTLEMANIA history“. He added “and we have FUN…OK that’s four things but you know what the hell The Rock’s saying“.
Mr ‘The Rock,’ if you want to set 4 goals instead of 3, that’s fine by me – I’m not going to argue with you. The event will be broadcast live on the WWE network.
