Ed Sheeran Announces Wembley Stadium Concert | Music News
Ed Sheeran has revealed that the last stop on his Multiply world tour will be at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium next year. The gig, largely in support of his current album X, will be the singer’s largest solo show to date and would mark the first time a British male artist has played at the venue. Ironically in an interview with GQ last month, Ed has expressed performing as the venue as one of his goals, saying “I want to sell out Wembley. Just me and my guitar. Eighty-thousand people. Solo. It’ll be expensive but what a moment”. Tickets to the gig are due to go on sale on Friday, November 26, and you can watch an O2 priority teaser video below, as posted by the man himself.
