Electronic producer and songwriter Bearcubs, aka Jack Ritchie, has unveiled his latest single “Overthinking”, featuring narou.
After releasing his critically acclaimed debut album Ultraviolet in 2018, Bearcubs moved from London to Berlin to find new energy and inspiration.
Looks like he found what he was looking for in the German dynamic city, as he is now ready to release his forthcoming LP album Early Hours, that will be out on May, 15.
Early Hours reflects the time Bearcubs spent in London at the beginning of his fruitful career. Different experiences find their place in the album: trying to write music while working at the pub, living in a ruthless metropolis, partying with friends until the early hours.
The artist relocation to Germany well influenced his music works. As he stated, in Berlin “it feels like you can be spontaneous and just go with the flow here, individual self expression seems to be more accepted here”.
“Overthinking” is the first single from Early Hours and it perfectly depicts the success of Bearcubs choice to move to Germany, as this refreshing electronic track sees him featuring his fellow Berlin resident narou.
Bearcubs has recently announced his European tour dates for later this year, so go check them out if you are willing to hear live how his vocals perfectly mix with addictive sound elements and emotive electronic beats.
