As if we weren’t already hyped enough for Game of Thrones season six, the Dragon Queen herself Emilia Clarke has upped our expectations even further after describing the upcoming installment as “epic” and “huge”. Last airing in April 2015, the next season will surprisingly air before author and creator George RR Martin has even finished The Winds of Fire – the next book in the novel series.
Starring in all the seasons as Daenerys Targaryen, Clarke hinted that the filming certainly took its toll on the team: “Legitimately, this season almost killed us”, she told E! Online. Despite the apparent struggle they faced, she summed up the new season with words we all wanted to hear: “Like, it is epic, it is huge, it’s insane, it’s silly.”
