Epic New Trailer For Upcoming ‘Kubo And The Two Strings’ Animated Film | Film Trailer
Kubo and the Two Strings is an upcoming stop-motion animated fantasy film from acclaimed animation studio Laika, the same studio that brought us Coraline, Paranorman and The Boxtrolls.
The film, set in ancient Japan, follows the adventure of a young storyteller named Kubo (Art Parkinson), who accidentally summons a vengeful spirit to his village. Equipped with his magical Shamisen (a Japanese three stringed lute), and with the help of Monkey (Charlize Theron) and Beetle (Matthew McConaughey), Kubo must set out on an epic quest to save his loved ones, uncover the mystery of his late father and fulfill his destiny.
Featuring the voice talents of George Takei, Rooney Mara, Ralph Fiennes, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa and Brenda Vaccaro, Kubo and the Two Strings is so visually stunning, with its beautifully crafted animation and original story-line, that it will no doubt get some much deserved attention upon release. It should make a nice change from the slew of superhero films set to come out this year.
