“The Thirst” is the brand new single from Los Angeles house producer, Eric Sharp, featuring multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Zhao. Sharp and Zhao have been friends for a few years now, and the song is the latest release on the Disco Fries owned/operated label, Liftoff Recordings.
“The Thirst” pounds addictively, a moody feel. The vocals have got that soulful, sexy sophistication, lending very well to the backdrop. Funky guitar licks kick into what is a very ensemble performance, layers upon layers working towards a worthy cause. The drums then drop out to let the other elements breathe, and then it is the beat’s time to shine.
