The author, composer and performer Julian Bell, born Julian Bradford Bell, is about to release his new single “Eyes In Love“! This single will be the first of his next EP titled Waiting room, which will be released later in 2020 and produced by Dee Lilly.
Born in Maryland to a London mother and a Jamaican father, Julian Bell grew up surrounded by a wide variety of music, from R&B, jazz and gospel to pop and reggae. He has started playing guitar at the age of eight, and in high school he started writing songs, mostly about love. He has then attended Columbia College, a Chicago liberal arts institution.
He has started to work in studio with different artists such as Vic Mensa and played with him at the LollaPalooza in 2013.
He has also participated in numerous works by big names such as the single “Egyptian Luvr” from Rejjie Snow, the album Pieces Of Man from Mick Jenkins and the album Subject to Flooding from Jagwar Twin.
His single “Eyes In Love” was inspired by two lovers who met one night late in the streets of Paris. Julian Bell has imagined what their story could be and turned it into a song.
