Ferragamo And Vogue Italia Host Cocktail To Unveil New Collection | Fashion News
On June 19, Ferragamo and Vogue Italia hosted ‘Future Heritage: A Unique Artisanal Story‘, a cocktail party in Milan to celebrate Ferragamo’s new footwear capsule collection – taking place on the famous street full of luxury shops: Corso Como. Salvatore Ferragamo, Gloria Swanson, Mary Pickford, Joan Crawford and Rodolfo Valentino have all contributed to the new collection.
The six-pieces from the designers were part of the exhibit “L’Italia a Hollywood” (Italy at Hollywood). The exclusive capsule collection is composed of three models for woman BELLA, ASSOLUTA & FOXTROT – and three for man – RAMON, SILENCE & SPECIAL. The exhibition was centred around Americana cinema – a mainstay in Italian history.
The main guests from the party were James Ferragamo, Emanuele Farneti, Alan Prada, Chris Burt Allan. Vogue Italia has overseen the entire artistic direction of the project and aimed to make every model unique. They have used basic colours to bring out the best of every shoe. They gathered inspiration for the installation from the Ferragamo brand design.
