Filming Begins For ‘Deadpool 2’, Ryan Reynolds Shares From The Set | Film News

Production has officially begin on the highly anticipated sequel to the $783.1 million box-office-earning Deadpool. Deadpool 2 sees Ryan Reynolds return as the hilarious, “Merc with a Mouth” antihero.

The sequel will be directed by John Wick‘s David Leitch after Tim Miller dropped out, citing creative differences with Reynolds, despite having worked together on the first installment.

Ryan Reynolds has been sharing photos from production of the sequel on his Instagram. Yesterday, a photo of the film’s slate on the first day of filming excited fans, hyping them for its eventual release.

The same reaction occurred when Reynolds today shared this quirky photo of him and Hunt For The Wilderpeople‘s Julian Dennison.

Deadpool 2 has already been given a June 1, 2018 release date. I expect Reynolds will continue to tease onset.
