Final Episode Of ‘Glee’ To Pay Tribute to Cory Monteith | TV News

One of Glee’s original cast members Kevin McHale has been speaking about the series’ finale, confirming that a tribute to late actor Cory Monteith will be paid. Monteith, who passed away in July 2013 at the age of 31 has already been the theme of a tribute episode but McHale states that Finn Hudson will be commemorated in the final episode as well. “I think he is always remembered and especially at a time like this at the very end, there will definitely be some sort of mention of him, he’ll be involved in some way“, said McHale, who plays Artie Abrams in the musical series.

The show will conclude with its sixth series later this year when the final series is aired. McHale spoke to Access Hollywood saying “I’m satisfied. I was reading it and the last two episodes are airing back-to-back, so it’s kinda this double whammy all at the end, I think (viewers will) be happy. I was happy. They tie up a lot of great storylines and you get to see these people in a new light and follow their journey. These characters have gone through a lot, and I think there’s a good payoff at the end“.
