Foo Fighter’s European tour in 2015 ran everything but smoothly. Lead singer Dave Grohl broke his leg on stage during their gig in Gothenburg in June and it was also the same year as the awful Paris terror attacks.

Grohl’s broken metatarsal lead to the cancellation of their UK leg of their tour, including their headlining Glastonbury appearance.

The US band has filed a lawsuit against two companies, Llyods of London and Robertson Taylor who were the insurers for their European tour. Foo Fighters claim that one firm failed “to pay amounts that even they recognise are due and owing”. They also say that Robertson Taylor failed to warn them that rescheduling their UK shows would affect any claim.
