Foxes Enters Guinness World Record Books | Music News

Singer/songwriter Foxes has entered the Guinness World Record books with the help of Citroen by performing seven live gigs at seven different locations in the UK in twelve hours. In each concert, she also performed an exclusive track of her debut album Body Talk, which isn’t to be released within the UK until the 24th of July.

Foxes commented on the record saying, “It’s been amazing to see this challenge through to the finishing line. It’s been a long day, but I’m so excited to be able to say that I’m now a Guinness World Records title holder. I’d like to say a huge thanks to Citroen and my team for making this become a reality. After taking the New C1 from City to City, I’m more determined than ever to pass my driving test and get out on the open road“.

Guinness World Records advised that each of the seven concerts had to be located a minimum of 50km from the last, the performances had to be a minimum of 15 minutes in length and the entire attempt had to be completed in the space of 12 hours. She travelled from Southhampton via Brighton, Guilford, Reading, Oxford, High Wycombe and on to the final concert in London where she received her award. The new Citroen C1 used by Foxes for the record attempt will be gifted to Trekstock to  boost fundraising for the cancer charity.
