Frank Ocean promised he’d deliver his sophomore album Boys Don’t Cry by the end of July. And yesterday, July 35 (or, for anyone but Frank, Thursday, August 4) new information regarding its release leaked.

According to an insider familiar with the release plan, the follow up to the immense Channel Orange will be released through an exclusive partnership with Apple Music on Friday, and will be available on Cupertino’s streaming platform for two weeks before becoming more widely accessible.

Along with the album, rumour has it that Ocean will release a “print publication”: while no more has been said about it, it is luckily that the print work mentioned will be the zine teased by Frank in April 2015. According to the reporter, it will be distributed at Apple stores throughout the world.

Stay tuned for more updates.
