MISOGI has reworked Future’s “Covered N Money”, which is found on the latter’s Honest album, from 2014.
It begins with some sparse piano, and set against what is some intense sampling of Future. There is also a keyboard line blowing over the top, like that classic West Coast sound of the Nineties. The rapped verses seem quite low in the mix, especially in relation to the drum machine, like rhythmic gunshots.
Despite all these crazy elements flying all over the place, on the whole you could deem it quite relaxing fare. The aforementioned sparse piano closes the track, reinforcing that feeling the track is rather cathartic listening.
