FX Renews ‘Snowfall’ For Fifth Season | TV News

The 2017 series Snowfall have recently been renewed for a fifth season, available on the platform FX. The story around it falls into the 80s in the star city, Los Angeles, where cocaine and crack were at the center of attention.

The fourth season takes place in 1985, with the dealers in South Central Los Angeles led by young dealer, Franklin Saint, are profiting from the high demand for cocaine, which has terrible effects on people and on society in general. And to stop that the White House and CIA headquarters are on the job.

For the new season, we will see the return of Damson Idris playing Franklin Saint the drug dealer, as well as Carter Hudson as CIA agent Teddy McDonald trying to bring him down, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta as the Mexican fighter named Gustavo ‘El Oso’.

Amin Joseph, Michael Hyatt, Isaiah John, as well as Angela Lewis as Aunt Louie and more are also set to star in the new season. We don’t have the full cast yet and maybe the next season will have some surprise features along the way.

The drama series has received a lot of good reviews and has increased its number of viewers since the last season, so we should get that same vibe in the next season. Although we don’t have a lot of information on the premises of the upcoming season, we can guess that it will follow the course of cocaine history.

The series was created by the late John Singleton, with the help of Eric Amadio and Dave Andron. It is currently airing its fourth season on FX so while we wait for more information on the fifth season or even a sneak peek, we can go catch up on all that has been happening.

The last episode of the fourth season should air on April 21.
