Gabriel Luna And Natalia Reyes Join The New ‘Terminator’ Sequel Cast | Film News

 

Many names have been included in the new sequel of the famous saga Terminator which will hit cinemas next year with James Cameron (Avatar) as producer and Tim Miller (Deadpool) as director.

 

Cameron and Miller have planned a new trilogy that is completely different to others yet follow after the original film and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

 

The new cast additions are Mexican actor Gabriel Luna, the main character of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Colombian actress Natalia Reyes who will play a young girl that lives in México, involved in an epic battle between machines and humans.

 

Also already announced are Diego Boneta (Rock Of Ages) who’s set to play the brother of Reyes character, and Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049), a killer machine that comes to the future.

 

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton will come back to their characters.

 

James Cameron once sold the Terminator rights for one dollar to American film producer Gale Anne Hurd so that he can direct the film, with Arnold Schwarzenegger as a main character.

 

The first film grossed $78.4 million worldwide, less than the successful sequel, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, which got $519.8 million. The most recent Terminator: Genesis grossed $440.6 million worldwide.
