Already with Wonder Woman 2, Flashpoint, and Justice League on her plate, Gal Gadot is hungry for more. Straying from fast paced action, Gadot’s going for a film with more depth in Deeper.
She joins Bradley Cooper in MGM’s pic, directed by Kornel Mundruczo (White God) and written by Max Landis (Victor Frankenstein, American Ultra).
The film follows a disgraced astronaut (presumably, Bradley), who sets out to reach the bottom of a newly discovered oceanic trench in search of the lowest point on Earth. Instead, he finds danger and a physical and psychological battle against mysterious forces.
The likelihood of replicating her Wonder Woman success is pretty darn low, but with a Gravity/ Interstellar vibe coming from the film, I don’t think theatres are going to be empty. Expect more details, including a release date, to come.
