George Ogilvie Releases ‘IWII’ Music Video And New Album ‘White Out’ | Music News

Two sensational singles in the bag already “In Only a Day” and “Die Down“, acclaimed singer songwriter George Ogilvie has finally released the debut album White Out. In celebration of the new project, he also treats fans to an additional video for the powerful “IIWII“.

The new video for “IIWII” was filmed in the beautiful island of Tenerife and the video as a whole embodies the essence of the track with it’s serene, picturesque scenes as well as it’s hazy feel. Tying into overall themes of the album succinctly, White Out has its roots in passion and vulnerability.

From the beautifully raw instrumentation of opener “A Different Kind” to the peacefulness and stillness of “Mood Painting”, White Out takes the listener on a journey – drawing different moods and a sense of introspection. Bringing to life personal subjects like his drinking problems, battles with mental health and more, White Out is in many ways therapy for the soul.

Produced by Ali Staton (PJ Harvey, Snow Patrol), his first project since 2018 displays a level of control and subtlety in vocal style that underlines why he is loved by so many across the globe.

Justified with over 75M streams on Spotify alone, previous support from LONDON IN STEREO, THE LINE OF BEST FIT and DIY, George’s talent and innate, emotional connect continue to define him as an exciting new voices. With this new release, it further amplifies the sense of something very special is destined for this humble star.
