German Neo-Soul Artist Kat Is Excited To Share Her New Single ‘Dear People’

German neo-soul artist Kat has shared her newly single titled “Dear People”.

Raised in Dallas, Texas, Katharina from her real name is now living and proudly studying medicine in Aachen in Germany.

Taking influences from big names such as Sade, Erykah Badu, Melody Gardot, Nina Simone and Billie Holiday, she creates her own piece of music during her spare time sharing her attraction to the jazz music.

She started her journey with music in 2016, the year following she created her first album on her own then took the opportunity to work with the famous German audio engineer Friedemann Tischmeyer who help her mastered it.

Speaking about the song, she says “Dear People is an appeal to humanity, to embrace each others diversity and recognise the similarities rather than the differences. It was originally written from the standpoint of my own struggle going through breast cancer at such a young age, to motivate and empower others that are losing faith in themselves.

Because of the current situation in Europe, it now has expanded to a much more political meaning and I want to reach people all over the world struggling and going through any kind of pain and suffering.

Back up by a brilliant group of young musicians, she will go live in the city of her studies during the upcoming summer season to share her freshly tracks from her album.
