Girlpool – Blah Blah Blah | Music Video

Two piece Punk, Indie, Garage Rock band Girlpool have crawled out of LA’s underground scene with a self-titled Debut EP. The band which is made up of Harmony Tividad and Cleo Tucker have caused a stir in the music world with their bare, low-fi, guitar and bass music. Girlpool create a ‘cut the crap’ kind of music, unapologetically screaming, shouting and sort-of singing about punching men in the face. The girls celebrate sexuality and have gained a lot of respect for their honest lyric writing and carefree approach to music creation. Their bare, honest approach is central to the band; no drummer, simple production and frank, sincere lyric writing.  Girlpool have let free a new video to go along with the release of their new EP which has been directed by Sini Anderson (director of the Kathleen Hanna documentary, The Punk Singer). Their self-titled debut EP is out today (18/11/14) on Wichita recordings, and can be purchased here.
