Gisele Bündchen – mother, entrepreneur and the world’s highest paid supermodel – is to appear fully nude on the front cover of Vogue Brazil for its anniversary issue in May. To commemorate the magazine’s 40th anniversary and 20 years of Gisele on the runway, the newly retired runway model appears in black and white on the cover. The image, shot by photographers Inez and Vinoodh, showcases Gisele’s beautiful and flawless physique and is accompanied by a blockbuster five editorial shoots in the double anniversary edition. Earlier this month, Gisele strutted the catwalk for the final time in Sao Paulo after two decades as one of the most coveted runway models. When questioned on her reason for giving up runway modeling, Gisele commented saying “automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body, it’s a privilege to be able to stop“.
