Singer/songwriter Grimes has designed the front cover for a new comic book. The quirky electronic artist has teamed up with Image Comics for the project, providing the cover art for the design for The Wicked + The Divine. The comic shows modern pop stars having god-like powers. In the meantime, Grimes has been working on her new album which will be a highly anticipated follow up to 2012’s Visions, the new record is due to be released in October. Grimes messaged fans advising the album will be a “surprise release” because all the songs should be “heard together“. She also described the album as “very different” to anything she’s done prior, with “real instruments” used.
