Grizzly Bear – Losing All Sense | Music Video

The American indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York, Grizzly Bear, have just unveiled a music video for their new single entitled “Losing All Sense“. This track is taken from their latest album Painted Ruins, which was released on August 18.

The members of the band are Edward Droste (vocals, guitar, keyboards, omnichord), Daniel Rossen (vocals, guitar, banjo, keyboards), Chris Taylor (bass, backing vocals, various instruments, producer), and Christopher Bear (drums, backing vocals).

In the clip directed by Cody Critcheloe, we can see the actress Busy Philipps who is walking inside a restaurant where she joins a group of two women and one man. She is sitting wet and at the same time she is also thoughtful and sad. The other women starts to bother her and then the visual moves to Edward Droste dressed like a woman while he’s singing on a piano the song.

The entire video is surreal and weird, because at the end, we discover that the dinner at the restaurant was done for a reality show, then Philipps is eating a blue soup, in which she puts her hand inside, and she dives in it and it becomes a lake.

The singer in an interview with Dazed claimed “The video is even more of a dichotomy – it’s like David Lynch meets the ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ meets Heathers or something. It’s kind of campy and dark and surreal“. Watch the music video here below.
