Introducing alternative R&B and adult contemporary newcomer Brittney Mendoza with her brand new debut single titled “Paranoid”. The single is said to be taken from her upcoming debut project, which should be arriving in 2022.

The song was written by Brittney Mendoza in the middle of the global pandemic, with co-writing support from Jesse Barrera, Tim Atlas, and Paul Prudente. The track sees the Los Angeles based artist and songwriter addressing the emotional baggage and feelings of insecurity that seem to weigh her down and undermine the prospects of a better future with someone new.

She explains it better this way, “my debut single ‘Paranoid’ addresses the emotional baggage that bleeds into the new relationship when you desperately want to move on from it. The feeling of insecurity that weighs you down and undermines the prospects of a better future with someone you really care about“.

Brittney Mendoza was born in Guam and raised in Hawaii, and is a proud Chamoru-Filipino native. Now based in Los Angeles in California, her music can best be described as exploring lush musical landscapes and ethereal tones, both underpinned by her relatable and honest lyrics that speak to the complexities of love, anxiety and XXX, with honest reflection.
