Harrison Ford Voices His First Animation Role | Film News

When you are in your 70s, there aren’t many first times anymore. Nevertheless, you can sometimes find something new to do even at that age. This is the case now for Harrison Ford. The well-known actor has at least one first time to come in the near future: He will be voicing an animated character!

Until now he always played a character in front of the camera but for The Secret Life Of Pets 2 he will only let his voice speak to the audience. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t be worried that you won’t see him in front again. After all, a new Indiana Jones is also coming in the near future. But, he isn’t the only addition to the cast.

Tiffany Haddish, Patton Oswalt, Nick Kroll, and Pete Holmes have also joined the line-up. Oswalt will take on the lead role which was formerly voiced by Louie CK after the dismissal of latter due to sexual harassment allegations.

A few familiar voices also join the cast once more. Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, Eric Stonestreet, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Hannibal Buress, and Bobby Moynihan return from the original film. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until next year for our favorite pets to return and to hear Harrison Ford in his first voicing role.
