‘Harry Potter’ Star David Twelis Joins ‘Landscapers’ Murder Drama | TV News

David Twelis who is well-known for his roles in Harry Potter, Wonder Woman, Fargo and Rare Beasts is set to star in the upcoming murder drama entitled Landscapers for HBO and New Sky.

 

The four-episode crime drama is based on a real-life story and tells a story of Susan and Christopher Edwards who committed a murder, buried the corpse in their back garden in 1998 and got away with it for 15 years, after which they eventually get put behind bars. The story is shown from the perspectives of the two killers, police officers and lawyers.

 

The limited series will be directed by Oscar-winning Alexander Payne and written by Ed Sinclair.

 

Twelis commented on his series participation, saying, “This is without doubt the very finest project I have worked on for many years. Everything about Landscapers is magical, there is nothing like it, and I’m impatient to get to work so that its brilliance can be shared with the rest of the world“.

 

David will be joined by Olivia Colman who played Queen Elizabeth II in the iconic series The Crown and is also nominated for Oscars Awards for her role in dementia drama The Father.

 

The actors will be accompanied by a stellar cast including Kate O’Flynn, Dipo Ola, Karl Johnson, Felicity Montagu and Daniel Rigby.

 

Landscapers will air on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK, the international sales will be executed by NBC Universal Global Distribution.
