HBO Unleashes First Trailer For The Robin Williams Documentary | TV Trailer

 

HBO has just released the first trailer for the highly anticipated documentary Come Inside My Mind, about the late Robin Williams.

 

Fans of the actor will be given the chance to remember Williams one more time with never-before-seen footage and interviews with close friends Billy Crystal, Eric Idle, Whoopi Goldberg, David Letterman and Steve Martin. Robin’s son, Zak Williams, will also be featured.

 

The sudden death of Robin Williams left the whole film industry shaken. The actor, who committed suicide in 2014, was mostly known for his comedic roles and stand up shows and was one of the most versatile actor of his generation. His most famous roles includes Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji and Will Hunting, just to name a few.

 

Known to the public for his quirky and hilarious characters, in his private life Williams was far more tormented. As depicted in the trailer, he was a troubled soul, ‘always looking for connection’ and to make other people laugh.

 

Eventually, his inspiring geniality and madness in front of the camera caught up to him, leading to his tragic death. The trailer of the HBO documentary hits all the right notes as it captures Williams’ sensitivity and brilliancy while giving fans unreleased footage celebrating the actor’s life.
