‘Heroes: Reborn’ Will Not Be Making A Comeback After Final Episode | TV News
NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt has revealed that the network has no intention of renewing the 13 part mini-series Heroes: Reborn after the final episode airs on January 21. This was apparently “…always the plan” Greenblatt told reporters, adding that “as far as I know, there are no more incarnations of Heroes coming”.
The decision seems to have been bolstered by negative reviews and dwindling ratings since it was first aired in September of 2015, and will be the show’s second cancellation since the original was cancelled after four seasons back in 2010. That being said, for fans of the show there could still be hope, as Greenblatt went on to say that he felt that the series could be “rebooted, relaunched and recast as a franchise more than just an ongoing saga with the same characters”.
