Hugh Jackman Confirmed For ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’? | Film News
Director Bryan Singer has tried to keep wraps on any information being released for the upcoming sequel to last year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the ninth installment of the X-Men film series. Jackman himself, when asked about reprising his role in the series, has given confusing answers, initially agreeing that he would be a part of the next superhero flick, then later dodging the question.
His involvement has been confirmed however in the form of a leather satchel company named Kika NY, who posted a picture on Instagram showing the designs for a duffle bag, designed for “Hugh Jackman, who is filming the new X-Men movie in Montreal“. So it seems that Jackman will appear in Apocalypse, even if it is just a cameo. X-Men: Apocalypse is due for a May 2016 release date, whilst the next standalone Wolverine movie is due for release in March 2017.
