Hulu Unveils Trailer For ‘Wounds’ Starring Dakota Johnson And Armie Hammer | Film Trailer

Wounds is the upcoming film written and directed by Babak Anvari. It’s his first movie since the acclaimed Under The Shadow, which was released in 2016. This horror film is an adaptation of Nathan Ballingrud’s novella The Visible Filth

It premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, but it won’t be dropped in theatres due to the production studio’s financial difficulties. Instead, it has signed a deal that gives the exclusive rights to streaming service Hulu.

Wounds stars in the main role Armie Hammer(Social Network) and Dakota Johnson(Fifty Shades Of Grey), and the official synopsis is below:

When New Orleans bartender Will (Armie Hammer) picks up a cell phone after some kids leave it in his bar, he innocently answers a few messages – only to discover some truly shocking images on it. Those images begin to take root inside him, and as the new movie Wounds unfolds, Will and his girlfriend (Dakota Johnson) – who also makes the mistake of looking at the violent imagery – get progressively sweatier and much more disturbed“.

Alongside these two, the cast includes Atlanta star Zazie Beetz, Nocturnal Animals Karl Glusman and Orange Is the New Black star Brad William Henke.

The film hits Hulu on October 18. In the meantime, watch the official trailer below:
