‘I Am’ Is An Ode To Self-Confidence By New York Singer Elaine Kristal

Some of the best actors, singers, producers, TV personalities, film directors, and celebrities, in general, come from the Big Apple and this is no coincidence. Growing up in the jungle of New York City is something different and singer Elaine Kristal knows it.

Elaine grew up in Stated Island developing an astonishing passion for and attachment to music from a very young age. She wrote her first song at 13, recorded in a studio for the first time at 16, and was introduced by her father to eternal artists like Prince, Janet Jackson, and Selena.

Many artists inspired her works over the years, from Alicia Keys to Justin Timberlake but her eager voice is mainly influenced by her Puerto Rican roots which create a sensual and piercing tone.

In her last single, “I Am”, Elaine, who has just signed a new contract with X Records Inc, blends her South American soul with her life experience in New York, realizing a strong hymn to self-confidence which screams to the world who this artist is, empowering the image of female singers and women.

In “I Am”, the mix of electronic and instrumental music with her love for poetry generates a song that you can not dislike because you find yourself reflected in the lyrics Elaine wrote, teaching us to fight adversity back and be grateful for what we have.
