DJ Ian Saint Laurent has done a masterpiece remix once again! The song this time is “Body Movin” from the best hip hop, rock group ever, the Beastie Boys.
Back in 1998, Beastie Boys had released their fifth studio album called Hello Nasty in which the “Body Movin” song was a big hit for several months. This group influenced many teen-agers then (including me) to just have the power and do whatever they wanted to and of course be creative and groove with it.
This isn’t the first remix of the song. Before Ian Saint Laurent’s version, Fat Boy Slim remixed it many years ago and also there is a radio-only remix version with Redman, Biz Markie and Eric Sermon. But I think this newest version is more fun and updated to the music ears of 2016 teen-agers, who can have a blast listening to it, even with the company of their older family members, who will remember their teen-age years and listen to it with the same joy!!
