After ending the 2019 releasing their debut album Good To See You, the New York based band Meyru are back with their new track “At Some Point”, that set them up to further develop what’s already an eventful career.
Meyru’s nostalgic indie rock beats have been capturing the New York City music scene, as it’s proved by their series of sold out shows in iconic venues such as Mercury Lounge, The Bowery Ballroom and Pianos.
Their debut album featured the hit singles “She”, which was included in Spotify’s Discover Weekly Playlist, “Something I Like” and “Running Day Dreams”.
To cite one of the many praises they received, The Big Takeover Magazine wrote that “they’ve perfected the balance between subdued and energetic indie rock”.
“At Some Point” is definitely an energetic track that will make you turn the volume of your phone up from the first listen. Featuring instrumental solos and romantic vocals, this new single is the perfect example of that nostalgic indie rock sound Meyru are well known for.
About the track, the band explained: “It’s a short, sweet and poppy love song telling someone who may or may not love you back to get their s**t together and just tell you what they want”. You will only need a three minutes break to join Meyru on one of their captivating musical journeys, so wear your headphones and check this engaging song out.
