Indie Rock Band Wet Leg Unveil ‘Ur Mum’ Music Video From Self-Titled Album

British indie rock band Wet Leg have launched a new single “Ur Mum” from their newly released self-titled debut album, which is released today and contains twelve tracks.

The two women met in college and ten years of friendship later, they signed with Domino record label under the stage name of Wet Leg in 2019.

Since the fascinating craziness on their “Chaise Longue” debut single released last summer, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers have not slowed down. Between new releases, TV performances and a bunch of sold-out concerts, they have put the fire back on the music stage.

Their debut title “Chaison Longue” gathered not less than 40M global streams and 9M YouTube views, and the band also began the year by being crowned #2 on the BBC Sound of 2022 poll. The band have instantly caught the audience attention with their humour and sad moments.

“Ur Mum” comes along a music video directed by Nines8’s leader Lava La Rue, which swallows you in the Wet Leg carnival. According to Teasdale, the new single is a mix of indie-pop and post-punk, inspired by an ex-boyfriend.

You can meet Wet Let during their next international tour, which will include a stop in the United Kingdom on November for 2 dates.
