Is Kurt Russell Ready For A Box Office Resurgence After The Success Of ‘The Hateful Eight’? | Film News
64 year old Hollywood actor Kurt Russell has recently revitalised his film career with the release of Quentin Tarantino‘s The Hateful Eight becoming a box office hit with both fans and critics. In the past 15 years Russell has failed to deliver box office hits with Vanilla Sky being his last major commercial success prior The Hateful Eight.
The Hateful Eight has successfully moved Kurt Russell back into the spotlight with a new renewed popularity for the ageing star. Russell is hoping to continue this success with a new film co- starring Mark Wahlberg titled Deepwater Horizon scheduled for September 30, 2016 release.
Time will tell whether Kurt Russell can sustain continued box office success but it strongly depends on the acting performances he delivers on screen. Hopefully sometime in the future he and Quentin Tarantino could collaborate once more on a another blockbuster film but as for now it is not yet guaranteed.
