ITV Increases Profits But Warns Over Brexit Fears | TV News

Do you want the good news or the bad news? Good news first, with ITV saying today that its revenues grew by 14% to come to £755 million in the first quarter of 2016, but here comes the bad news; with the warning that Brexit fears are impacting the television advertisement market.

 

The healthy increase in profit was driven mostly by the strong performance of ITV’s television production arm, ITV studios however chief executive Adam Crozier put a downer on any celebration with his comments warning the impact of Brexit:

 

This is against the backdrop of uncertainty in the UK advertising market, which we have experienced since the debate over Brexit began.
