Jake Gyllenhaal In Talks To Star In Guy Ritchie’s Next Movie

Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly in negotiations to star in Guy Ritchie‘s next film. Miramax are producing and Ritchie is also penning the screenplay, although there aren’t any other details right now.

Per Deadline, this film is expected to be Gyllenhaal’s next project and is expected to begin shooting quickly, likely by the end of this year.

The Snatch, Aladdin, and Sherlock Holmes director has been busy, with his great Jason Statham heist vehicle Wrath Of Man arriving earlier this year, while he also has Operation Fortune, which also stars Statham alongside Aubrey Plaza, due in January.

Gyllenhaal himself just had The Guilty, an American remake of the Danish thriller of the same name, release directly to Netflix, while he’s also got a busy slate lined up.

He recently signed on to star in Prophet, while he’s also got Finest Kid, Rio and Francis & The Godfather lined up. That’s not to mention his roles in two mini-series, The Son and Lake Success.

But his next starring role will be in Michael Bay‘s thriller Ambulance, which hits cinemas in February.

Hopefully we get more information on Ritchie’s new film soon. Expect a high-paced actioner if his track record is anything to go by.
