James Blake And Justin Vernon To Perform Live Together This Year | Music News
Five years after “Fall Creek Boys Choir”, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and James Blake are most probably set to pair up again in a live performance.
After The National’s Aaron Dessner and Vernon have confirmed that the Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival was returning to the Chippewa Valley in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, a cassette of b-sides, home recordings and demos from the festival’s lineup was sent to early-bird ticket holders; one of the song, “Untitled 2”, is attributed to none other than Fall Creek Boys Choir.
As teased by the cassette’s tracklist, Vernon will make three appearances, one with Blake, one as Bon Iver, and one with Dessner.
The festival will take place August 12 and 13, and it will feature artists such as Jon Hopkins, Shabazz Palaces, Arcade Fire, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Bruce Hornsby, and others.
