Jamie Hewlett Announces Gorillaz Return | Music News
The Gorillaz are set to make a comeback. Jamie Hewlett, the artist who co-created the band with Damon Albarn, confirmed the return on Instagtram earlier this week, by posting new images of the band’s fictional characters Murdoc and Noodle, before later adding, “Yes. Gorillaz returns”. In April last year, Albarn told NME that there was enough material to release a new Gorillaz albumm it would be the first since 2011’s free project The Fall. Albarn has been working on other projects since then, including his solo album Everyday Robots and his collaboration Rocket Juice & The Moon with Flea and Tony Allen.
