Who doesn’t love a witty romantic comedy? Several people perhaps, but before you write off another film about love and life and all the fumbles in between, watch the trailer for Sundance favourite People, Places, Things starring Jemaine Clement and Regina Hall (Sundance = this film might not be so bad!).
Clement (Flight of The Conchords) plays Will Henry, a middle-aged graphic novelist on a path to figure out life and find love as a single dad after his wife leaves him for an off-broadway monologist. If indie films are your thing then a plot-line like that should have you bubbling over with unconventional excitement. Directed by James C Strouse, People, Places, Things looks like a very endearing film filled with lots of takeaway one-liners to look forward to when it comes out on August 14.
