Jennifer Lopez – Ain’t You Mama | Music Video

Jennifer Lopez has released the accompanying visual to her new single “Ain’t Your Mama”. The music video see’s the “I’m Real” singer focus on women’s right and the continued wage gap between men and women in the work place, and takes on various roles of a woman, from a secretary to a factory worker to a homemaker, all the while proclaiming “I Ain’t Your Mama!” She even includes Hilary Clinton’s “Female Rights Are Human Rights” speech within the music video.

 

I don’t have to tell you things are bad”, she says in the intro. “Everybody knows things are bad. Taken for granted. Ignored. Overlooked. Under-appreciated. We have a big, big problem, ladies. First, you’ve got to get mad.

 

The song, written by Meghan Trainor, has come under heavy criticism as it is produced by Dr Luke, the producer who popstar Kesha has accused of raping her. The pair are currently embroiled in a never-ending legal battle with Sony, who Kesha wishes to be released from. Take a look at the music video for Jennifer Lopez “Ain’t Your Mama” below.
