Jennifer Lopez And Shakira To Headline The 2020 Super Bowl | TV News

After Rihanna denied rumours about a possible appearance at next year’s Super Bowl, international Popstars Shakira and Jennifer Lopez have been confirmed that they will be headlining the popular halftime show. Maroon 5, supported by Big Boi and Travis Scott, took the stage this year and over 98 million people watched the show.

The two stars celebrated the news via twitter: “Going to set the world on fire” Lopez wrote, while Shakira wrote: ”It doesn’t get any bigger than this! So excited about getting on that SuperBowl stage!”.

Pepsi is the main sponsor of the event and the news has also been shared by Todd Kaplan, the company’s vice-president of marketing: “These two remarkable artists are setting a new precedent for what this show can become, and we’re confident that this will be an incredible performance for the ages”.

Jennifer Lopez, a Grammy-award winning singer, has sold more than 75 million records in her career and recently took part in the Versace show at Milan Fashion Week, where she appeared on the stage in the famous dress she wore during the 2000 Grammys. She also appeared in the movie Hustlers, which came out earlier this month.

Shakira released her last album El Dorado in 2017 and is focusing on new music. Moreover, she will release a concert film based on her latest tour on November 13.

This combination will surely be amazing and we are looking forward to seeing these stars shining on the stage!
