JME And Krept & Konan Lead Nominations For First Ever Rated Awards | Music News

 

KA and GRM Daily have collaborated to present the Rated Awards, a music award ceremony for British urban music. Voted for by fans, the award ceremony will take place on September 17 at the Clapham Grand and will include several categories such as ‘Best Project’, ‘Best Breakthrough’, ‘Best Producer’ and the ‘GRM Legacy’ award. The full list of nominees has just been announced and JME leads the nominations with four categories including ‘Best Track’, ‘Best Video’, ‘Artist of the Year’ and ‘Best Project’ for his latest album Integrity.

 

Krept & Konan follow closely behind the Boy Better Know honcho, with three nominations including ‘Artist of the Year’, ‘Best Video’ and ‘Best Project’. Bugzy Malone and Bonkas received two nonimations along with Tinie Tempah, Skepta and Ghetts, while Little Simz, who is nominated for ‘Artist of the Year’ and Lady Leshurr, who is nominated for ‘Best Project’ for Queen’s Speech, are the only two notable females in the nominations list.
