Jordan Peele Developing Nazi Hunter Series ‘The Hunt’ | TV News

After the success of his directorial debut with summer sensation Get Out, Jordan Peele has found his next project in The Hunt. A 1970s drama, the series tells the true story of a group of Nazi hunters in pursuit of justice. No network is currently attached, but with the buzz of Peele and the popularity of Nazi thrillers, there may be a fair bit of bidding ahead.

David Weil will write the script for the series, executive producing alongside Peele. Weil’s writing will likely bring to light similarities to the current political climate in the US, particularly after the demonstrations at Charlottesville, Virginia.

Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions is behind the series, with Sonar Entertainment in support. It was recently announced by Universal that Peele’s untitled, very under wraps thriller is dated for release March 15, 2019. Based on his own original idea, Peele will write, direct, and produce the film.
