Joseph Marcus – Better Love | New Music
Forgive me for being super late in sharing this with you, I was meant to do this last week but better late than never right? Introducing singer, songwriter and bedroom producer Joseph Marcus with his excellent new single titled “Better Love“, which was written by Sophie Cooke aka Frances, who has also penned hits for the likes of Megan Trainor and Jess Glynne.
“Better Love” is the follow up to Joseph Marcus’ seminal debut track “Right Thing To Do”, which was supported by Spotify on their ‘Sweet Soul Sunday’ playlist and ‘UK Viral Charts’, and BBC Introducing among others. This new one “Better Love” has been garnering early traction on Hype Machine already, so it’s definitely worth checking out.
The Reading born musician explains that “Better Love” is “a song I wrote with Sophie Cooke (Frances) in Summer 2017. Sophie started by playing those off-beat chords and from there, we wrote a fun and uplifting song about self love and moving on from a bad relationship. The rough demo we made in that session then made its way to Josh Scarbrow (Wilhelm) who produced a new demo that breathed a whole new life into the track and I instantly fell in love with it“.
